About

I like traveling and learning languages and cultures. I made posts about my trips to different countries in Europe. After Corona times, I’m posting my thoughts, ideas, and perspectives. Welcome! ๐Ÿ™‚

  1. I only know one language, and I certainly do love to use it. However, if we regard “photography” as a second language, then I speak two, and I can totally appreciate the wonderful poem you have recited at the top of this page. Thanks for dropping by, for in doing so, you helped me to find your wonderful site.

  2. Hi Lena,

Thank you for checking out my post and page. I very much appreciate it. I am loving the pictures! I’ve been on a good number of trips to and around Copenhagen and Malmo so they are bringing back some good memories!

  3. Beautiful blog, MissElenka! Thank you for liking my blog post ๐Ÿ™‚ I also love foreign languages, the ones I speak being English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, a little bit of Serbian and now I’ve started studying Finnish on my own. Any advice on how to pick up Finnish faster? I love its sound, and I also hope that next year I’ll be moving to Turku to study as a University Master’s Student.
    Thank you!
    Catalina

      1. I live in Norway! I looooove portuguese food, I miss it everyday, that’s what I meant. And I find it verrrryyy difficult to discover good things to eat here. I feel like it’s either frozen “meals” or sausages, what people eat here. ๐Ÿ˜€ Portuguese pickyness I guess!

Also thanks for the like. as I am attempting to keep track of them. Having never traveled to Europe and surrounding areas (nations), you are a breath of fresh air.

  7. Thanks for liking my post. I’ll have to discover your favourite Portuguese island; it sounds wonderful. In my next post I’ll be expressing my disappointment at my Portuguese beach experience – thankfully I found a not so secret “secret” one that brought some quiet balance. Enjoyed visiting your site!

    1. Disappointment? Sorry to hear that! But we have different experiences in the same places. The problem is that Portugal is becoming more and more popular with tourists and it is more and more difficult to find an isolated spot.

  9. Thanks for your visits to my photo blog, and for your likes. I enjoyed exploring your posts here. Your enthusiasm for languages is delightful. I know only a few languages: English, French, Spanish. Along the way, I have also learned some Danish, Dutch, and German, but only for specialized purposes.
