In Finnish, Tuska means pain/suffering, both emotional and physical. Tuska is also the name of the metal festival in Helsinki, the Finnish capital.
I have heard of this festival earlier, but I have never attended it. This year, when places are open again and all festivals are back, I had to go! My favourite bands there were the Finnish Amorphis and Ukrainian Jinjer. The quality of performance was really high.
The atmosphere on the festival deserves special attention. With my constant feeling of not fitting in, I definitely experienced being in a better condition. Also, it was a safe place to be indeed – respectful and sober people.
