A day trip to the capital. What a wonderful change!
When I moved to Finland (Turku), I was not fascinated by the capital. Yes, I visited the city from time to time, but no hard feelings attached. I was too busy exploring Turku.
I remember the September day in 2019, when I came for a seminar to the University of Helsinki, and I just didn’t want to leave the city afterwards. I wanted to stay, I wanted to live in the capital.
It seems that so much is happening in Helsinki, many events of different kinds – cultural, music, fashion, whatever you like. Helsinki has gather variety of people, who look well-mai tainted, fashionable, and confident. What a lovely place to be in!
A sunny day in a great city. For now just a day. I still dream of the moment, when Helsinki will become my home. Whether or not, the capital will have a special place in my heart ❤️
