Lund Church

I never could pass an ancient historical building, especially if it is a church. For me, it is a message from the past, an opportunity to look back in times.

The cathedral was established when Lund was a part of Sweden. Lund became a religious center of Denmark in those times, accompanied with a number of monasteries and other churches.
The estimated year of establishment is 1085, but it is not clear if the initial church was built in the same place. In 1234, the fire destroyed the building, and the architecture of the church gradually started it’s transformation to the present view.
